A Chinese wife, Emma Yi, has come up with a novel albeit controlling solution to ensuring that her husband doesn't come home late. She has installed a card reader to make sure she can keep a track on his movements.
Briefly.co.za discovered that Emma came up with the idea after realising that if a punch card machine can control her husbands working hours why couldn't she use one to make sure he comes home on time.
Next to the card reader is a note that reads the conditions of his 'parole':
If he his home before 9 pm then he gets a warm supper and some quality time with the wife according to odditycentral.com.
If he is late by at least 30 minutes he owes her 100 Yuan (R225) and if he is more than 30 minutes late than he owes her a whole days worth of chores.
The photo of the card reader and note has gone viral sparking some reactions from internet users.
“His wife must work in HR,” Weibo user @LiuLInchuan wrote.
“This is too much! You’re stripping away his freedom!” another netizen said.
One user commented that he was fortunate to be single.
