Siphumelele Mbambo, a gospel singer, believes that prayer saved her from meeting an unfortunate end when she had a horrific car accident.
Briefly.co.za learned that Mbambo believes that December is a cursed month for her and that terrible things happen to her this time of year.
The 33-year-old singer spoke of her accident the weekend after she was given the all clear to leave the hospital according to the dailysun.co.za.
She described being overcome by an urge to pray just before the accident, which is what she believes saved her life. As soon as she said 'Amen' she felt her car being pushed by an unseen force.
Her car skidded out of control on a dark and rainy night, it overturned and narrowly missed colliding with a tree. She was alone and no one had witnessed the accident.
Suspended upside down, she prayed for help as she tried to free herself from her seat belt. It was then that a stranger appeared and helped her.
She believes that she was saved by a miracle through the power of prayer.
Mbambo recently shot to fame for her Zion rhythm songs in the well-known gospel group 'Joyous Celebration'.
