Three's the charm: Woman gives birth to triplets

- The young mom was surprised that she had given birth to triplets

- Her children aren't simply born at the same time but are also identical

- Despite spending six weeks in intensive care the boys are perfectly healthy

Becki-Jo Allen, 23, had given birth to triplets, the odds of which are 1 in 200 million. She had been felling ill and was worried that there was something wrong with her unborn child.

She was shocked to find out that she was expecting triplets.

“I had been being very sick and had a really bad headache so I booked an early scan and that was when I found out I was expecting triplets,” Becki-Jo said. “It was the biggest shock of my life! We haven’t got any triplets in the family so it came completely out of the blue.”

The three boys are not just triplets but are naturally conceived natural triplets. Initially, the hospital had told her that they were just triplets but not identical.

The boys, Roman, Rocco, and Rohan had to stay for six weeks in the intensive care unit but are not thriving and reaching all their milestones.

Becki-Jo had suspected that the boys were identical when people kept saying how alike they looked and often mixed them up. She had DNA tests performed which confirmed that the boys were indeed identical triplets.
